Four Things....Right Now.

1. Sleeping Cats- They're all done with the night games and are ready for bed. I've been given my warnings with an insistent "Mao" by Henry, a gentle cry from Georgia, and Leroy has come in from his hunting, hopefully without any prizes. They're the titular cats for this blog and are quite content as my indoor/outdoor furry roommates.
2. Crafting- Yarn is a large factor in my crafting. My stash has been likened to ground zero of a craft store explosion. Blankets are my current obsession and during triple digit weather, no less. I met today with a fellow knitter and painter who asked if I'd be interested in sharing a booth with her soon at a local market. I'll admit the idea is a bit daunting, but I am taking it one step at a time, making lists and knowing full well that I've got time to work. December is four months away after all. *Gulp*
3.Books- My escape from the harsher realities of life, I love to read. I am currently reading Stolen by Kelley Armstrong, the second book in her series called Women of the Otherworld. I love the main characters and was turned onto the books after watching the series Bitten which is based on the books. While there are differences, I love both versions for their strengths.
4. Family- Tomorrow is a Mama and Baby day. James is going to work for the day (Boo!) but the kiddo and I get to spend some one on one time together. Tomorrow I will be teaching her to finger knit. We'll go visit our friends at the local Stitch and Bitch (of which Kiddo declared she was now a member, our youngest at four years old) and have a cookie. There may be some fingernails painted, or some donuts eaten.
